Last Friday, our students had an enjoyable and memorable Water Day, filled with delightful activities such as Duck Duck Goose and a walk-through car wash. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of their Pre-K year at Mae Steven Early Learning Academy. This event was made possible thanks to the generous support of volunteers from our Adopt A Unit, the CCJHS Dance Team, NJHS students, and the SC Lee Dance Team. Even our staff members were thoroughly engaged and having a fantastic time. While we will certainly miss our students, we are excited for the great things that await them in Kindergarten.

Tuesday evening, the Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved funding to address Board Goal 1: Elementary/Secondary Enrichment. This funding will allow the addition of a Director of Fine Arts to the district's staff.
