
Congratulations to our students who received the Positive Office Referral this week. These individuals exhibited exemplary behavior, made commendable choices, and demonstrated outstanding leadership and kindness.







Each week, students explore a different color along with various items associated with that hue. This week, the focus is on the color blue. On Thursdays, we encourage everyone to wear the color of the week. Today, our students proudly showcased their BULLDAWG BLUE! Go BULLDAWGS!






Students in Mrs. Anderson’s class are exploring the various senses. They engage in activities such as tasting different food items and smelling various scents. Additionally, they investigate the sense of touch by distinguishing between soft and rough textures.









This week Meileen Reyes chose Ciera Jones for the “Paws”itive Pathfinder Award. Miss Ciera Jones radiates positivity and compassion in everything she does, making her a true "Paws"itive Pathfinder on campus. Her uplifting energy inspires students daily, and her willingness to help wherever needed makes her an invaluable part of the school community. Whether she's supporting classroom activities or caring for teachers' children during after-school meetings, Miss Jones consistently goes above and beyond with grace and kindness. Her selfless dedication and joyful spirit make her a guiding light for others and a most deserving recipient of this award.


The week of September 1, 2025, Mary Papson chose Mandy Hunt for the Tireless Teacher Award. Ms. Hunt embodies the spirit of the Energizer Bunny—she keeps going and going, bringing boundless energy, joy, and dedication to her classroom and beyond. Her accomplishments are many, yet she remains humble and ever cheerful, often seen singing with her students in the hallways, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Always approachable and ready to lend a helping hand, Ms. Hunt is a beacon of positivity and support for both students and staff. Her tireless commitment and infectious enthusiasm make her truly deserving of this award.

Students in Mrs. Roberts' class are exploring and learning about the different shapes as part of their curriculum and have begun painting their alphabet book.











Today, we have successfully concluded our Attendance Awareness Week. The theme for today was "Rock 'n' Roll Friday." Thank you for arriving on time each day! Let’s take a moment to celebrate how our students truly embraced the spirit of the day.






What activities are enjoyable on Fridays? All classes have the opportunity to visit the gym. Coach Crawford begins with a warm-up song, followed by a physical activity that engages all students. Today, they participated in basketball and hula hooping. Even our School Marshall took a moment to join in, attempting some free throws.







Today's theme for Attendance Awareness was “Be Hip, Stay All Day, Everyday.” Take a moment to appreciate our students and staff showcasing their tie-dye apparel. We will conclude the week tomorrow with the theme “Rock 'n' Roll Friday.” Thank you for arriving on time each day! Please remember to don your rock 'n' roll attire.





In Mrs. Collier's class, students are actively engaged in the concept of sorting. This foundational skill can be applied to various categories, including shapes, sizes, colors, and more. Today, the focus is on color sorting. By utilizing an array of colored blocks, students not only enhance their understanding of sorting but also develop essential motor skills that will benefit them in their overall learning journey.




The week of August 25, 2025, the admin team at Mae Stevens chose Meileen Reyes as our “Paw”sitive Pathfinder. We are honored to present the “Paws”itive Pathfinder Award to a paraprofessional who goes above and beyond each day with a smile. She is always helpful and dependable, bringing positivity to every task and challenge. No matter the situation, she never complains and continually sets an example of dedication and teamwork. Today's theme for Attendance Awareness was "Be a Team Player by Showing Up to School Every Day." We certainly had many enthusiastic team players in attendance. Tomorrow's theme will continue with “Be Hip, Stay All Day, Every Day,” encouraging everyone to wear something tie-dyed.

We are proud to present the Tireless Teacher Award to this dedicated educator who never stops striving for excellence. She constantly explores new ideas to engage her students, approaches each day with positivity, and welcomes feedback as an opportunity to grow. Hunt's class recently visited the Literacy Center, beginning the day with a unity song to foster a sense of collaboration. Our exceptional Literacy Aide, Ms. Richmond, read the book *Mr. Wiggles* to the class. In this delightful story, Mr. Wiggles, the bookworm, highlights the dos and don'ts of taking care of books in the Literacy Center.






Today's theme for Attendance Awareness was "Wear Neon." The message conveyed is that good attendance fosters a bright future. Here are some of our students showcasing their neon attire. Tomorrow, we will continue our Attendance Awareness campaign with the theme "Be a Team Player by Showing Up to School Every Day." We encourage everyone to wear their favorite team jersey.











Today in Mrs. Hunter’s class, students began with a brain break, engaging in an exercise on the carpet. The variety of movements helped keep them energized and prepared for further learning. Following this, they focused on understanding the different components of a letter, including straight lines and curves. This activity is part of the fundations curriculum designed to teach the letters of the alphabet.

Today, we celebrate Attendance Matters Dress-Up Day with the theme “Don’t Let Absences Sneak Up on You!” Students are encouraged to wear camouflage or black attire. Let us maintain our Attendance Awareness as we look forward to tomorrow's theme, “Good Attendance Leads to a BRIGHT Future,” where neon colors will be the attire of choice. Students in Mrs. Papson’s class are enjoying their lunchtime. Whether they brought lunch from home or received a tray from the cafeteria, they all gather at their assigned table. During this time, the students are practicing opening various items, such as their milk cartons, bags containing utensils and napkins, lunch box, and Lunchables.
