Dear Parents/Guardians, Some very important days are coming up in the life of our third, fourth and fifth grade students: · ***Tuesday, December 3rd 3rd, 4th, and 5th Reading Benchmark *** · ***Tuesday, December 10th 3rd, 4th, and 5th Math Benchmark *** · ***Thursday, December 12th 5th Science Benchmark *** ***These testing days give our students the opportunity to “show what they know” and guide our instruction moving toward the official testing dates. Students will have all day to complete the assessment. Please help prepare your child by encouraging him/her to: · Get plenty of rest before the tests. · Eat a good breakfast. · Arrive on time. · Dress in layers to be comfortable during testing. · Do their absolute best! · Bring a healthy snack In order to maintain test security and ensure a quiet testing environment, we will be closing campus during lunch for all grade levels on the above dates. All noise and traffic in the campus hallways and common areas will be kept to a minimum. Please call with any questions you may have. Thank you for your support this year. We look forward to celebrating our students’ success together. At CPE, we love having parents/guardians join their children for lunch. To make this a safe and enjoyable lunchtime, we do ask that all guests follow these guidelines:   Please check in with our office staff at the welcome desk first in the cafeteria. You must have a valid ID and be an authorized family member or be on the emergency contacts list in Skyward.  Please only eat with your designated student on the stage. Other students must remain at their class tables.  Please respect the privacy of other students. Pictures and recordings are allowed only for your permitted students.  Please respect your students' lunchtime hours as we want to maximize instructional time. Contact your child’s teacher(s) by email if there is important information to discuss. Due to confidentiality, they are unable to discuss your child with you in the lunchroom. Be supportive of the school's policies and rules. Follow the school's rules and encourage your student to do the same.  Thanks,  CPE Administration

Parents/Guardians, In the event of extreme weather, such as lightning and/or thunderstorms, walkers will not be dismissed until the campus determines that it is safe. Students will NOT be dismissed if there is lighting within 10 miles of the campus for a minimum of 30 minutes. In addition, walkers will NOT be dismissed if their visibility is impeded. Friendly reminder, the Parsons’ front loop is for Bus dismissal only. For the safety of our students, walkers are not dismissed until all buses have left the driveway. As always, the safety of our students is our top priority. CPE Administration
